Prior to his time at Lateral Investments, he was vice president at Triton Pacific Securities.
“Ken’s extensive background in due diligence, performance analytics, and capital markets adds significant depth to our team,” said Brian Conneely, president of Peak Capital Solutions. “We look forward to his contributions as we continue expanding our presence in the central region.”
Peak also reported that, before his work in capital raising, Johnson held senior roles at a boutique independent broker-dealer, including manager of portfolio accounting, head of performance measurement and attribution, and due diligence officer. Peak Capital reported that he has also served as a portfolio and risk manager, overseeing $2 billion in traditional and alternative investments across various strategies. According to his BrokerCheck record, Johnson started his career at A I M Distributors in 1991.
Johnson earned the financial risk manager, or FRM, designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, also known as GARP, in 2006. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
