The festive season is in full swing and seeing how Melania and Donald decorate the White House for Christmas is certainly a holiday highlight. In the Green Room, which is used for small receptions and teas, two Lego-style portraits have been placed in the window: one of Trump and one of the first US president, George Washington. “The presidential portraits created from over 6,000 puzzle pieces… offer families the chance to be challenged, have fun, and use their imagination together,” says a White House statement. But who made these masterpieces? The company Brick Me said on social media that “its custom brick mosaics are officially part of the White House Christmas 2025 decorations” and (cheekily) “not just for presidents”. Melania’s decorations also include 10,000 blue butterflies fluttering around the Red Room in “a transformational experience dedicated to the foster-care community” and designed by Hervé Pierre. (Damien Hirst was not involved, apparently.)
