Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.13% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the lost 0.13%.

The best performers of the session on the were Equinor ASA (OL:), which rose 1.30% or 3.40 points to trade at 265.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:) added 0.77% or 1.70 points to end at 221.70 and Var Energi ASA (OL:) was up 0.74% or 0.26 points to 35.29 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which fell 4.99% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.70 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:) declined 1.74% or 2.60 points to end at 146.60 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) was down 1.70% or 1.72 points to 99.58.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 146 to 137 and 28 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nel ASA (OL:) fell to 5-year lows; down 4.99% or 0.14 to 2.70.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.96% or 0.68 to $71.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.70% or 0.52 to hit $74.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 16.31 to trade at $2,615.59 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.08% to 11.81, while USD/NOK rose 0.41% to 11.38.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 108.15.
