The 20 ETFs with the biggest inflows of June 2024

The year is only half over, but it’s already been very good for exchange-traded funds.

U.S. ETFs took in a total net inflow of $82.4 billion in June 2024, according to Morningstar Direct. That brings the total haul for the first half of 2024 to $413 billion — the highest half-year total since 2021.

Month to month, the latest numbers mark a slight comedown. The June flows were not quite as strong as in May, when U.S. ETFs took in $87.1 billion — a new record for the fifth month of the year.

But last month’s figures were still robust, and marked something of a leveling off in a year that’s been a roller coaster for ETFs. Monthly inflows were only $31 billion in January, but jumped to $102.5 billion in March, then sank to $38 billion in April and soared to record heights for May.

Which ETFs took in the most cash last month? Scroll through the cardshow below to see the 20 funds with the biggest inflows of June 2024. All data is from Morningstar Direct and is current as of July 3, 2024.
