Tonkinson, who departed Jupiter last October as part of a restructuring of the distribution team, takes on the role of head of distribution for EMEA at the group from March 2024.

In his new role, Tonkinson will oversee the sales, marketing, client service and product development of the group across EMEA.
He spent more than a decade in his role as global head of distribution, first at Old Mutual Global Investors, before moving to Merian Global Investors as it was spun out of the firm and remaining with the business following Jupiter’s acquisition of Merian.
Prior to this, he spent almost a decade with UBS Global Asset Management.
The firm also noted Tjeerd ‘TJ’ Voskamp has departed JO Hambro Capital Management, which he joined as head of sales and distribution for UK, Europe and Asia in March 2021.
