Cottrell joined Odey Wealth in 2014 until Odey Asset Management and its former subsidiaries closed down in 2023, following a plethora of sexual misconduct allegations against Crispin Odey in June last year.
At Odey WM, he specialised in running portfolios for professional investors, retail clients and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Odey WM, he worked at CG Asset Management and Cazenove Capital Management.

Additionally, Thomas Pocock joined the firm as multi-asset analyst working across the firm’s multi-asset and alternative funds. He will be responsible for collective investment research and manage the firm’s recommended list of third-party funds.
Pocock joins from Peel Hunt, where he spent more than five years working in various research analyst roles covering investment companies across a broad range of asset classes.
