FactSet appoints Laurie Hylton to Board of Directors By Investing.com

NORWALK, Conn. – FactSet (NYSE:FDS | NASDAQ:FDS), a global provider of financial data and analytics, has announced the addition of Laurie Hylton to its Board of Directors. Hylton will also take a role on the company’s Audit Committee.

Bringing over three decades of experience in finance, Hylton has a notable background in asset management and public accounting. Her career includes key positions at Eaton (NYSE:) Vance Corp., where she contributed to the company’s strategic direction as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. Hylton’s professional history also encompasses a tenure as an auditor with Deloitte.

In addition to her new position at FactSet, Hylton holds a seat on the Board of Sun Life Financial (NYSE:) Inc., a post she has occupied since December 2022. Her board memberships extend to the non-profit sector with the Newbury Art Association and Theater in the Open.

Hylton’s academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. She maintained her status as a Certified Public Accountant from 1994 to 2022.

The appointment comes at a time when FactSet is actively exploring the capabilities of generative AI to enhance its product offerings and user experience. Hylton expressed enthusiasm about joining the board during this transformative period for the company.
