Steve Shore

Madison Capital Markets, an affiliate of Madison Capital Group, announced the addition of Steve Shore as executive vice president, responsible for expanding the company’s sales presence throughout the South Central United States – Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

With a track record in financial services and capital markets, Shore will spearhead strategic planning and relationship-building efforts, according to Madison Capital Markets, to strengthen the company’s connections with independent broker-dealers, wirehouse financial advisers, and registered investment advisers.

“We are pleased to welcome Steve Shore to Madison Capital Markets,” said Mike Crimmins, president of Madison Capital Markets. “With decades of experience in the financial services industry, Steve is a seasoned professional known for his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. His consistent success and deep connections with broker-dealers highlight his ability to drive growth and innovation. We are excited to leverage Steve’s extensive expertise as we continue to enhance and expand our market presence.”

Shore brings over two decades of investment sales experience, including his most recent role as managing director with Apollo Global Securities, following Apollo’s acquisition of Griffin Capital’s wealth distribution division in March 2022, where shore served as a senior vice president from 2017 to 2022. Before that, Shore held senior sales leadership roles, including senior vice president while at Cole Capital Corporation from 2005 to 2017, where he was responsible for raising capital through independent broker-dealers in the South Central region. Shore has also served as regional vice president at American Legacy and held key positions at Transamerica Capital, ING Investment Products, and American Express.

This is the second recent EVP hire made by Madison Capital Markets to expand sales reach across the United States. In addition to Shore, who will focus on the South Central region, Rick Shearer was hired last month to lead sales’ efforts in the Southeast.

Shore holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and advanced sales training certifications.

With a focus on structuring 1031 exchanges, Madison Capital Markets officially rebranded in May 2024, and manages more than $715 million in total property value. It specializes in multifamily and self-storage while maintaining a footprint across various real estate sectors. In June, it closed Go Store It Orlando DST, a Delaware statutory trust offered as a Regulation D private placement for approximately $18.5 million. Also in May, it launched Madison Net Lease IV Fund.

Madison Capital Group, a vertically integrated real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., specializes in real estate investments with a focus on the self-storage and multifamily sectors. The company is the parent entity of Go Store It Self-Storage, a non-traded direct investment sponsor emphasizing self-storage, and Madison Communities, a vertically integrated real estate development and investment firm dedicated to crafting high-quality, suburban, garden-style apartment communities throughout the Southeast.
