Art Heir Yoni Nahmad Marries Model in $5.89 M. Ceremony in France

The heir to one of the world’s most valuable private art collections Yoni Nahmad married Israeli model Eden Polani in Cannes, France, on September 11, according to Forbes.

The three-day, €5 million ($5.89 million) celebration at Château de la Croix des Gardes in the French Riviera included five hundred guests, among them, art world notables, tech entrepreneurs, and international socialites. The wedding featured bespoke culinary experiences by world-renowned chefs and musical performances by Israeli singer Nasrin Kadri and Colombian reggaeton superstar J Balvin.

The Nahmad family has collected artwork for the last six decades, amassing a collection of more than 300 masterworks by Picasso, Monet, Matisse, Renoir, and Rothko—safely stored in a secure duty-free warehouse in Geneva, Switzerland.

Syrian-born Jewish brothers, the late Ezra and David Nahmad, started the collection of Modern and contemporary art in the 1960s.

For his part, Ezra’s son Yoni has pursued real estate by expanding his family’s three-decade portfolio across continents, including Israel’s high-tech sector over the last two years.

The bride Eden Polani is a model who has starred in campaigns for such international brands as Flormar and Sweet Pants, and was a presenter for Israeli fashion retailer Renuar.

Together, the couple plan to establish their primary residence in Monaco, which the Nahmad family has used as its base for decades. This strategic location not only has favorable tax policies but also offers the pair proximity to the family’s art storage facilities.

This is hardly the first lavish nuptial ceremony the family has thrown. In 2023, his cousin Joseph, who is the son of David Nahmad and founder of Nahmad Contemporary gallery in New York, married model Madison Headrick to the tune of $12 million. Guests included such A-list celebrities as Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, and Serena and Venus Williams.
