Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.21% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.97% or 15.20 points to trade at 167.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:) added 4.97% or 2.15 points to end at 45.45 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:) was up 3.98% or 0.88 points to 23.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.06% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.31 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:) declined 4.33% or 5.60 points to end at 123.60 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:) was down 3.23% or 0.12 points to 3.59.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 131 and 33 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; up 4.97% or 2.15 to 45.45.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.33% or 0.93 to $70.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.27% or 0.94 to hit $74.63 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 43.30 to trade at $2,737.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 107.51.
