Venturi Private Wealth, an independent registered investment adviser, wealth management firm and multifamily office serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, has announced a strategic partnership with Opto Investments. The collaboration aims to simplify and scale private markets investing and servicing for Venturi clients through Opto’s technology-led platform.
Venturi plans to leverage Opto’s platform to expand its existing private markets program, identify new opportunities across private credit, private equity and real estate, and streamline the administrative management of its private funds.
According to Venturi – which reported $3 billion in assets – Opto’s platform will simplify private investing for clients, offering participation in a curated portfolio of private investments with lower minimums, a streamlined operational experience, and a single K-1. This partnership will further develop Venturi’s private equity solution, incorporating professional due diligence and consolidated reporting.
“Our partnership with Opto is a key part of our technology transformation, streamlining access to private investments through a fully integrated platform,” said Russ Norwood, co-founder and chief executive officer of Venturi Private Wealth. “Scale will no longer be a limiting factor for us to deliver private investments across our client base.”
Venturi, which has a history of managing private funds across various sectors, intends to introduce new private equity vintage funds every 18-24 months with a digitized subscription process, leveraging the Opto platform’s efficiencies.

Opto provides robust due diligence capabilities, having evaluated thousands of opportunities and approving only a select percentage – 1.4% as of December 2024 – for investment, offering Venturi and its clients access to institutional-quality research.
