Where the world of fine wine comes together

At the heart of Decanter Fine Wine Encounter is the Grand Tasting – an unrivalled opportunity to explore the world’s leading wine regions through the bottles and the people behind them.

More than 120 producers from 16 countries will pour a carefully curated selection of their wines, from benchmark classics to exciting new discoveries. Alongside renowned estates from France, Italy and Spain, visitors can explore wines from further afield, including Argentina, Australia, Chile, Hungary, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and beyond.

The 2026 producer line-up includes highlights such as Henri Giraud, Château Beychevelle, Carpineto, Muga, House of Arras, Clos Apalta and Royal Tokaji, with many more prestigious names set to welcome guests across both days.

Grand Tasting ticket holders will also enjoy access to the Decanter World Wine Awards Winners’ Table, where a hand-picked selection of 95-point-and-above medal winners from the 2026 competition will be available to taste side by side, offering a chance to discover outstanding wines that are often difficult to find in one place.

The full Grand Tasting line-up will be available on both Friday (3pm-9pm) and Saturday (11am-5.30pm), with single-day and two-day tickets available.

Exclusive Cellar Collection access

For those seeking something truly special, the Cellar Collection returns with three sessions across the two days, offering a rare opportunity to explore flagship wines through multiple vintages.

Twenty-one leading producers will each present three vintages of their most celebrated wine, including mature library releases that are seldom poured outside the winery. It’s a unique chance to experience how some of the world’s greatest wines evolve over time, while tasting alongside the people who know them best.

With limited capacity for every session, Cellar Collection tickets are among the most sought-after experiences of the event.

Three extraordinary masterclasses

The 2026 masterclass programme brings together three of the world’s most celebrated wine estates for expertly guided tastings led by the key figures behind each producer. Taking place on Saturday 7 November, these sessions offer a rare opportunity to taste landmark wines while hearing directly from the people shaping their future.

The day begins with Dom Pérignon, as Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon leads a remarkable tasting spanning five decades. Guests will explore 10 wines dating back to 1983, including several long-aged Plénitude releases that reveal the different stages in the evolution of one of Champagne’s most iconic wines.

Next, Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy, Head Winemaker at Baron Philippe de Rothschild, presents an in-depth exploration of the Pauillac estate’s three celebrated properties: Château Mouton Rothschild, Château d’Armailhac and Château Clerc Milon. Featuring 10 wines across four decades, including mini-verticals of each estate and a rare magnum of Mouton Rothschild 1998.

The final masterclass celebrates Seña, the pioneering Chilean wine created through a partnership between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi. Led by Alejandra Chadwick, guests will taste eight vintages across three decades, from the inaugural 1998 vintage to the anniversary 2024 release, which will be presented in a public tasting for the very first time.

A seat at the table

Among Decanter Fine Wine Encounter’s most exclusive experiences, Winemakers’ Lunches offer an unparalleled opportunity to spend an afternoon in the company of some of the wine world’s most influential figures.

Held on Friday 6 November, each lunch is limited to just six guests, creating an intimate setting for conversation over a curated menu paired with outstanding wines from the host producer. Available to book independently of Grand Tasting tickets, these lunches offer a chance to hear personal stories, ask questions and gain unique insights that simply aren’t possible in a larger tasting.

This year’s hosts include:

  • Adrianna Catena, Catena Zapata (Mendoza, Argentina)
  • Christian Seely, Château Pichon Baron (Bordeaux, France)
  • Michel Chapoutier, M. Chapoutier (Rhône, France)
  • Lucy Margaux Hill-Smith, Yalumba (Barossa, Australia)
  • Numanthia (Toro, Spain)
  • Manfred Ing, Querciabella (Tuscany, Italy)

Places for the Winemakers’ Lunches will be released soon. A waitlist is now open for those wishing to receive priority access when bookings are released.

Fuel your passion for extraordinary wine

Whether you’re visiting for a single day, planning the full two-day experience with Cellar Collection access, or simply looking to join a masterclass or winemakers’ lunch, Decanter Fine Wine Encounter offers an unrivalled opportunity to taste, learn and meet the people shaping the world of fine wine.
