On Tuesday, Art Week NYC, the soon-to-launch annual citywide celebration of contemporary art presented by ARTnews, Art in America, and Artforum, announced the galleries participating in its gallery program.
Seventy-six galleries are set to participate in the inaugural edition of the event, set to take place November 11–14. Among those participating are blue-chip enterprises like Hauser & Wirth, Gagosian, David Zwirner, Pace Gallery, White Cube, Perrotin, Lisson, and Paula Cooper. Other galleries run the gamut from emerging to midsize, and are located across the city’s gallery districts, including Chelsea, Tribeca, the Lower East Side, and the Upper East Side.
“Our vision for Art Week NYC began with the galleries,” Danielle McConnell, publisher of Artforum, said in a statement. “The galleries are where artists are discovered, careers are built, and the conversation around contemporary art moves forward. By bringing them together under one citywide platform, we’re creating an experience that reflects the strength and diversity of New York’s gallery community. We’re excited to invite audiences to see art where it is best seen, at the galleries and museums across the city.”
In addition to the gallery program, ARTnews will present the Art Week NYC Hub, with a full slate of live interviews, panel discussions, artist talks, and other editorial programming to be announced in hte coming months. Artforum and the New Museum will also host a day of public programming, and the ADAA Fair will present its 2026 edition during the event.

To complement the galleries’ programs, ARTnews will host a series of conversations that highlight the many ways to love and support art. We will also explore how art intersects with the worlds of sports, music, and fashion,” said ARTnews publisher Erica Lubow Necarsulmer. “ARTnews’s curated conversations will welcome art lovers at every stage of their journey in a compelling yet approachable format.”
